The Truth About Kyuhyun! (Part 1)

Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have their own radio show, name SuKiRa. Ryeowook is the guest for tonight.

“Ryeowook ah, many fans keep asking that they want you to tell the truth about Kyuhyun. The things that all of us doesn’t know, accept just for you two.” Ask Leeteuk.

“Ah, actually there is one. I don’t know if I should tell this on air, but because it’s the fan request, I accept it.” Reply Ryeowook.

“How can you accept when the fan request, but not to us?” ask Eunhyuk jokingly.

   Everybody laughs hearing Eunhyuk question. “Sorry hyung, I can’t make the fans disappointed.” Ryeowook laughs.

Then, he stars to talk about ‘The Truth of Kyuhyun’. “Actually, after make a performance for Music Bank, that night he and me are chatting about something, but then the talk become more romantic—“

“Romantic?” Eunhyuk ask like he doesn’t get the word.

“Yes.” He nods and then continues back to his story. “He suddenly said to me, “Ryeowook ah, you know that you are really mean to me?” I’m really shock hearing what he said, so I just reply “Yes, I know.” Then he stares at me. “Ryeowook ah, can you promise me one thing?” he ask me and I look at him weirdly. He doesn’t even ask and said that weird thing to me before. So I ask him “What is it?” Then—” he sobs.

“Waeyo?” the leader gives him a tissue.

“He told me that he want me to promise that I will let him to be my bodyguard and the one who will stay beside me forever. I stun. I don’t know what to reply, and without I know, I promise him.” He wipes his tears away.

   He takes a deep breath and let it go. Then, he continues the story. “It was late at night, and after I promise him, both of us remain silent for 15 minutes. Then, he went to my bed and sits next to me. He pushed away my bangs and stare at me. I can’t even blink that time.”

“Ah, I think I should stop there.” He shakes his head.

“What’s the matter? Is there something happen? Don’t tell me it is the same as me and Donghae.” Eunhyuk looks at crying Ryeowook.

“What happen to you and Donghae?” Leeteuk, who is looking at Ryewook, turn his face to Eunhyuk.

“Ah… Nothing…” reply him stutter.

“Ah, kids (Super Junior members) this day, really don’t tell the leader that something happen.” He shakes his head. Everybody laugh hearing Leeteuk said.

“Hyung, fans, I’m sorry I have to stop here. I guess I tell the story that I shouldn’t tell. I’m really sorry.”

“Ah, it’s okay. We all understand.”

“@KyuWook send to us this: “Ah, oppa… I wish I can hear more! I can feel something ‘fishy’ in your story. Keke…”” Leeteuk read the message.

“I got this. It’s from @YeWook: “Oppa! Don’t tell me there’s something happen! You know that you can’t cheat to Yesung Oppa! >.<” She’s mad.” Eunhyuk said jokingly after read the message.

“There’s more to read, but I think we just stop here because it almost over. I wish it still early and to the fans who are send us the messages, thank you so much and I’m sorry because I can’t read it all. Let’s end our show with a song from The BOSS ‘Admiring Boy’. Thank you for listening to SuKiRa and goodbye! I love you all!” he ends his speech and wave at the camera.

Ryeowook goes and stand in front of the camera and bows 90 degrees. He takes a pen and a paper. He writes “Sorry KyuWook fans, I can’t tell you the story!” And Eunhyuk keeps pleading him to tell the story.

Ryeowook’s Story (What actually happening that night…)

“Ah! So tiring!” whine the maknae and lies down on his bed.

“Kyu ah, go and took a bathe before you sleep.”

“I’m a bit lazy!”

“Hyung (Super Junior’s manager) will mad at you!”

“Okay, okay!” he then took his towel and went to the bathroom.

   After finish bathing, Ryeowook went into the bathroom. He dressed himself up with a pyjamas and lie on his bed. “Now I’m fresh and I can’t even sleep! Thanks to him!” whining and took his PSP and began playing game.

   Ryeowook finish bathing and he dressed himself up with a pyjamas too and looked at Kyuhyun. “You said you were tired.”

“Thanks to you I’m fresh!” he sighs.

“Your lovely welcome!” tried to make him annoying.

   Time pass by and it almost 1am. Both of them still don’t sleep yet. Kyuhyun was playing PSP and Ryeowook was in his daydreaming.

“It’s so bored!” he turns off the PSP and put it beside him.

“Yeah, I’m bored too! Why don’t we chat with each other? Sometimes chat with someone can make us fall asleep.”

“Good idea!”

   Like Ryeowook’s idea, they began to chat until 2am. “Ryeowook ah, you know that you are really mean to me?”

Ryeowook shock to hear what Kyuhyun said. “Yes, I know.” answered him.

Kyuhyun stared at Ryeowook. “Ryeowook ah, can you promise me one thing?”

“Eh? What is it?” he looked at him weirdly.

“Can I be your bodyguard and the one who can stay by your side… forever?”

He remained silent and then he looked at Kyuhyun back. “I promise.”

    Both of them remained silent for 15 minutes. Then, Kyuhyun went to Ryeowook’s bed and sits beside him. He pushed away Ryeowook’s bangs and kept staring at him. Ryeowook don’t even blink.

“Ryeowook ah,” he puts his arm on Ryeowook’s shoulder. “Why you cannot accept me as your boy friend?” Ryeowook shocked to hear his question.

“Why did you ask me that? Are you sick?”

“No, I’m not! I’m serious! I want to know the reason why!” pushed Ryeowook on bed.

“Kyu, are you mad?! What are you trying to do?!” he wants to get off from the bed but Kyuhyun pulls him back.

He lied down on Ryeowook’s body. “Let me enjoy this moment first.” He whispered to his ear.

Ryeowook want to pushed him away but his too heavy and just follow what Kyuhyun said. They had a sweet moment that nobody in Super Junior ever done before! Even until death, they swear that they are not going to tell to them! Include everybody else!

They are so bored at home and they are currently listening to SuKiRa. Sungmin who wants to hear the story until finish, decides to be someone else and message them. Kyuhyun who don’t wants the secret being reveal, pretend to be YeWook fan so he don’t even have a guts to tell!

It’s been 3 years past, and I still remember that moment. It still fresh in my mind…

“Kyuhyun, Kyuhyun!” shouted Ryeowook.

“What is it?” I came running to him.

“Look! SNSD on TV!” he pointed to the TV screen.

“Aish! You called me just for that? I was bathing!”

“Remember when you told me, “If I hear SNSD on TV, I will come running and sits in front of the TV even if that time I was bathing””

“Yeah, but right now, they are nothing to me. Even they attract boys with their cute face and sexy legs, but they can’t attract me now, because I have someone very pretty in front of me.” I smile and I saw him blushed.

“G…go and continue your bath!” he stuttered and quickly walked to the kitchen.

   After bathing, I put on my shirts and went downstairs. I hugged him from behind and kiss his neck.

“Kyu ah! What are you doing? Go and sat on the chair.” He tried to break free from my hug.

“But I want to hug you.”

“We can hug later. I’m preparing for our lunch. Don’t disturb me.” I kiss his neck again and sat on the chair.

   He served the lunch and we began eating. “Wookie ah, is there any place you want to go?” he looked up from his food.

“Why you asked me that? Planning to take me somewhere?” he raised his eyebrow.

“If you want, I will.” I gave him a smile.

“Alright! I think first,” he thinking then he looked at me. “How about theme park? It’s a fun place to go for a date.”

“Okay, tomorrow?”

“It will be such an awesome day tomorrow!” he laughs.

That night, when he was sleeping right next to me, I took my calendar and count the days.

“6 days left… Then it all will be over…” I said to myself and start to thinks about our 2 years dating. I didn’t realize that I was crying and that made Ryeowook wakes up.

“Kyuhyun ah, why are you crying?” he wipes away my tears.

“Nothing…” I put down the calendar and hug him. “I feel very happy that I met you in my life.” One by one, my tears drop.

“Me too… Let’s not talked about this problem, okay? It will ruin our mood tomorrow.” He embraced me.

“Yeah… Goodnight.” I try to sleep and try to forget everything.

Tomorrow came, and we went to the theme park, like we planned. We enjoyed ourselves there. We ride a roller coaster, play dart games, enter the ghost house and took a picture at the photo booth.

   The next day, we went to the Han River at night. Such a beautiful scenery. We took a photo together and I gave him a deep kiss. I count the day, 5 days left…

   After that, we went to the Jeju Island for 3 days. 2 days left, I thought to myself.

   The last day, we don’t go anywhere. We just sit in house and chatting with each other. I looked into his eyes, like he telling me that he don’t want to leave me. I know, his the most suffering than me.

   Even though his lip was smiling brightly, but his heart was hurting. All the pain he went through, more hurting than my broken hearted. I don’t know how he can pretend to smile when it’s really hurt?

“Wookie ah, can I ask you for the last time?” I put my arm on his shoulder.

“What is it, Kyu?” he looked at me and put his head on my chest.

“Do you love me?”

“Of course… If I don’t love you, I already leave you.”

“Then, why you leave me even if you love me?” my eyes started to tears up.

“No, Kyu! I’ll never leave you! I’ll never die!” he cried. I can feel his tears dripping onto my t-shirt.

I kissed his forehead. “I love you, Kim Ryeowook.” I whisper to him.

“I love you too, Jo Kyuhyun.”

The time has come. Ryeowook’s family, Ryeowook and I were in the hospital. Ryeowook hold my hand and told me that he will never ever leave me.

   I tried to believe him but when I think about the doctor words, my trust into him is disappearing.

“Mr. Kim, it’s time for you surgery.” The nurse told him and leads him the way. But before he walked, I pull his hand and gave him a deep kiss for the last time.

“Good luck.” He nods and gave his family a long hug, like a farewell hug.

He waves goodbye with a smiling face and followed the nurse. The way he smiled, like his hurting. Like his told everybody that he won’t survive.

His family were hugging with each other and it was such a touching scene. I cried when I looked at his Mom who was crying really hard. Whose Mom do not cry when their son or daughter were in a surgery room?

Finally, after waited for 2 hours and 3o minutes, the doctor came out with a sad face.

“Doctor, how is Ryeowook?” his Dad asked.

“I’m sorry, Sir. There’s nothing I can do. His time has come.” The doctor pats on his shoulder and walk away.

His Mom fainted and his Dad loses his stability and fall onto the floor.  So do I, I try to deaf my ears, but the doctor’s words keep repeating in my mind.

The nurse is pushing Ryeowook’s body on gurney. His Dad and his family hold his hand and cried. I looked at his face and kiss his forehead.

“Ryeowook ah, I’ll never regret meeting you. Even just 2 years and plus,” I laughed and took my breath, then breath out. “I feel like it’s been thousand years already. Thank you because always been there for me. I appreciate it.” I cried and just looked the nurse pushing the gurney.

“Kyuhyun ah, you don’t want to come in?” Sungmin pats on my back and I wake up from my daydream.

“Eh, what?”

“I ask you, you don’t want to come in? Everybody is waiting for you to open the presents.”

“Owh, okay. Let’s go inside.”

   We celebrate Christmas that night and it such a wonderful day. Even there are many people, but I still feel like emptiness in my heart.
